Festivals and other markets

Other ways of making money include making crafts or other things and selling them at festivals, craft fairs, or other markets around. First, you want to start in local areas. Then spread out to other places.

So how do you begin, you ask? You think up an idea that you want to do. Are you talented in making crafts? Music? Art? Food? Trinkets? how-to-be-a-craft-fair-successWhat type of crafts do you want or like to do? Do you crochet? Knit? Bead? Make clothing?

craft-fair-tips-and-ideas-imageThis can be a part of your niche, or it does not have to be. It is something that you want to do for extra money or just for fun.

Take your talent or preferred artistic ability and bring them  to life.

Ask the questions first. If for example, you are good at art, what kind of art do you do? Do you have a talent in clay? Do you have a design ability with clothes? Do you make clothes? Do you make stills? Do you like drama? Are you an organizer? Do you have the talent to draw or paint? What do you enjoy about what you do? What kinds of things do you want to do? What is your passion? What is your desire? Will it help you in your studies? Can this help you with your studies? Can you build models? Are you talented in multiple areas?questionable face

Then you decide what you are going to make. For example, let’s say you are good with clay. You like to make clay pots. You come up with a clay pot that will help people keep things organized, oh and if you have this talent let me know because I am the least organized person I know, anyway, back to the pot. You make this wonderful pot. Now you want to market it. You do this by making a few of them.

Decide what it cost you to make the pots. How much was the material? How long did it take you to make them? How many can you make in an hour, day, or week? What is your time worth? Can you do it between class?christmas-craft-booth

Next, check out the internet or local newspapers and find a local festival or selling market. Find out how much it costs to set up at the market. This is important because you want to make money not loose it. Prices usually range from $20.00 up to several hundred dollars for each event. So you want to have this price in your head before the festival or market date that you will be showing off your talent.

Now you say you don’t have the money to set up at the market, right? Well, that is why you want to build a website. Go to Wealthy Affiliate, or any other site, and learn how to build a website. I recommend Wealthy Affiliate if you have never built a website before because the information on that site will help you to build a successful website. The training is great and you also can talk to people and get their ideas on your site or ask questions about anything. You can build a free website around your talent.Go make money

You then want to check out Etsy, Ebay, Amazon, and other sites to see what similar items are selling for. You will also want to go to the festival or market where you plan on selling your items and seeing what they have similar things sell for.

Another thing is if you are going to provide or prepare food items, you must have a health inspection done in your area. There is a lot of things that have to be done for food items. I don’t recommend this, but if you want to do food, which is always a big seller at festivals, make sure you check your state’s health regulations before doing this.

If you are going to be doing anything with music, make sure your music is unique. You don’t want to be shut down for infringement rights on music. I have had friends that were totally devastated because they thought they had the permissions from various artists and found out later that it was not their place to give the okay to perform or play the music.

Now you are ready for the festival or market. You have prepared yourself and you have checked out prices and availability of items.  You have gotten all the permissions you need or inspections done, you will be ready for the festival.

If you are going to provide a service for people.

Canal Days

Another way of making money is selling crafts at Canal Days in Metamora Indiana.

I went and it was fun. Got to see a lot of people from different places. Friends that I had not seen in a long time were there as well. It has been a really nice weekend too. Lots of sunshine. The first day it was hot. Then the next 2 days were cooler. But all 3 days were sunny and bright. Beautiful day to be outdoors.

Didn’t make many sales but did sell some things. Either they did not want my stuff, or I had it priced too high, or maybe it was the fact that this was my first year selling. I will try again next year. Hopefully, it will be better.

This is basically what it looked like in Metamora this weekend.

Here are some interesting things about Metamora, Indiana for those who know nothing about the place:

This is a postcard that shows different places around Metamora.

This is a place where they sell cookie jars and the best ice cream in town. The lady in the red shirt is named Connie. She is the one that oversees most of the events that are held in Metamora. Starting next weekend is the Haunted village. So just after getting Canal days finished up, she gets the Haunted Village going. She is also one busy lady. She is also the sweetest person that you would ever meet.

This sign tells about the canal. I cannot do any better than that.

Not sure if you can read this, but it tells about the aqueduct. From Wikipedia it says this about the Duck Creek Aqueduct: (Figured I would give you the best description of it from the Wikipedia dictionary.)

Duck Creek Aqueduct, also known as the Metamora Aqueduct and Whitewater Canal Aqueduct, is a historic aqueduct carrying the Whitewater Canal over Duck Creek in Metamora Township, Franklin County, Indiana. It is the only surviving covered wood aqueduct in the United States as such it is a form of covered bridge. It is a single-span Burr through truss aqueduct and measures approximately 90 feet long, 25 feet wide, and 25 feet deep. The original aqueduct was built between 1839 and 1843. The present structure was built in 1846, after the original aqueduct was washed out in a flood. It was strengthened in 1868, and repaired in 1901. After abandonment and deterioration, the Duck Creek Aqueduct was restored to its present appearance in 1946-1949.[2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.[1] It is located in the Whitewater Canal Historic District and part of the Metamora Historic District,

Here is a picture of the waterfall and Gristmill in Metamora. It is a beautiful waterfall up close. And the Grist mill still works. They grind up corn and other things. They sell them there too. You can actually take a tour and watch it in action. Which is neat to see,by both the kids and adults.

And the boat ride in Metamora. This is no ordinary boat ride though. This boat is pulled by horses. The horse walk down the train tracks when the train is not running or is on the run and will be back before the train gets back. It is a nice relaxing trip.

Shuttle train in Metamora.

Through train in Metamora by Grist mill.

Here is where the train lets you off. This is the train from Connersville.

Most of the pictures above, that are not specifically about canal days, were not during Canal days. During Canal Days this town is covered with vendors and people.

Well, I found out that there is a Rock man who is looking for someone who likes to wire-wrap and do things with rocks and gemstones. That is good. Maybe I will set up next to him next year. That would be neat. Talked to a lady who does little crafts this year. She seemed to be making a lot of money, but she had a lot of little cheap things. That is what was going this year.

A lesson that I learned is not to be discouraged about what sells and don’t have expectations because things will never go as planned. Just keep at it! Don’t give up. That is what to do. Never give up. Look at the positive things that happen. That is the object of the game. Look for what happened the best and learn from that.

I did sell some of the key chains that I made. Pokemon key chains, Spider-man key chains, and Star Wars key chains went pretty well. Some rings and necklaces did also. But not as much as I would have liked.

Next year, I will know what to expect. That was my day in the life of Canal Days. Hope you had a wonderful weekend, too. And hope to see you at Canal Days next year.

What is a Keyword?

First of all, what is a keyword, you are asking? Well, a keyword is a set of words that help you to find what you are looking for. It could be one word or many words. Keywords are research tools. These help you to find what you are looking for. questionable face

Keywords are just words to help in your research. It could be one word or many words put together to make up a set of words.

Many times you need the perfect word to find a particular subject or a particular item. These can be description words, simple words, or a complex set of words.

Why do you need keywords?

Keywords help you in your research. They help you to find what you are looking for. When you are doing research for school or a project or just for fun, you have to do some research, right? Well, you have to know what you are researching. That is where Keywords come in.Picture of stick figure with mouth open

For example, let’s say you are going to go to a friend’s birthday party and you want to find that perfect outfit to wear. How would you choose? Would you want to buy a new one? Where would you go? Would you just go to the mall and look around for the perfect shirt? This is one way of doing it. What would you do once you get to the mall? Where would you go? There are a lot of stores at the mall.looking in a book old keyword research

So you have decided to go to the mall. Now you need to find a store that sells clothes. You know that at the mall there are a lot of stores. Which store would you choose? Would you just randomly pick a store? If you did this you may end up in a toy store or a pet store. So you want to look for clothing stores.
This is similar to keywords. They help you find what you are looking for. So you don’t end up getting something that you don’t want or getting lost looking for something.

Kinds of keywords

There are different types of keywords. Three main keywords are long tail keywords, short tail keywords, and head keywords. most valuable words

What is the difference, you ask? Glad you asked.

Each type of keyword is used for something different. Just like there are different people in the world, well there are different keywords in the world too. And each type has a specific use.

A short term keyword is used to target large groups and small search engines.

Head keywords are used to generate volume. If you want more traffic to your site, use a head keyword.

dinosaur chart of keywordsLong keywords are used for specific niches or specific market. These are usually longer in length and more specific. They are usually in phrases.

How do I find Keywords?

Have you ever wondered how to find keywords? Has this totally eluded you? I know sometimes I have had trouble with this. There are many places that you can find keywords. When I first started at Wealthy Affiliate, I had no idea where to find keywords. I had no idea what a keyword was.

As I was going through the training on Wealthy Affiliate, I found where to find keywords.

There are many places you can find keywords. Kyle, at Wealthy Affiliate, recommends Jaaxy. This is because that is a free site that helps you find not only the right keywords but can help you figure out what to use as a keyword also.

Try Jaaxy below and let me know what you think.

Keywords can help you in your research

getting the right keyword cartoonKeywords in the old days, before computers, were only found in places like thesauruses, dictionaries, and encyclopedias. Now you can go online and search anything with the right word. You will have to refine your search though because when you put a word in you may end up with a lot of words that you may not want.

Law of Averages

Did you know that only 10% of people reach their dreams? Did you know that there are sacrifices to making money and deciding if you are going to make a success of something or not? Did you know that you have a choice to make? It is all up to you!

I am getting to know more and more about averages. How many times does it take before someone buys something from you, how many people does it take to buy something? It seems to be the same all the way around. Everything I am finding has this.

So what is the law of averages?

It says that 90% of the people will fall behind or not achieve their goals in life. They will not do the things to succeed to make their dreams come true. The will come up short when it comes to their dreams, goals, or anything else in life. And 10 % will achieve success.

So it seems that the law of averages not only works for sales but in everything that we do. There are many books out there that talk about the law of averages. One of these books is written by Stephen Covey called the 90/10 principle. Unfortunately, this is an older book and is no longer in print.

However, there is another good book that is on the market. It is the “Flaw of Averages”.

These are good books. They bring about some things that you never thought about. I had not realized that this is really what happens in life. Everything is based on the law of averages. It is amazing to see that.

My Challenge to you

Next time you are out and about, see how the law of averages works around you. see where it is and where it is not. I will venture to guess that more times that the law of averages will be there.

So, my question to you is are you a part of the 90% that will not do the work or achieve success the 10 % that does? Are you part of the 90% that will not make it work and give up, or the 10% that will persevere and go through the tough times to make it happen? Only you know what you can put up with, how strong you are, and how much you want to sacrifice for your dream. It is your choice. Only you can choose this. No one else can do it for you.

Live Write Thrive Blog

student studying clipI found this website. It is a great site about writing. It gives you some good information on writing. If you have a passion for writing, or just want to start that book that you have always wanted to write, and maybe even get some money for writing that book, you may want to consider this site. It is called Live Write Thrive. I am going to try it. I have never written a book before so this would be a good thing to try.

It is a little different than Wealthy Affiliate in that with Wealthy Affiliate you can make a website. Oh, and you can combine the two. Write your book, publish it, then make your website and sell it on your website. Ever think of that? Well, that is today’s blog. something to think about.

question markHave you ever just sat down and thought about why you are doing what you are doing? Have you ever contemplated on the why you do things? Interesting question, isn’t it? Are you doing it for self-satisfaction? Are you doing what you are doing for someone else? Are you doing it for the Lord God? Or are you doing it to show others that you can do it? Are you doing it for the money? Are you really loving what you are doing? Are you doing it to achieve success? Are you doing it to pay bills? Are you doing it just to keep food on your plate? Are you doing it to help others? Are you doing it for the betterment of your family? Are you doing it because you want to succeed in college? Why are you going to college? Why are you studying? Why do you want to achieve success at college? Is it for you? Is it for someone else?

who what where when why questions

Well, these are the questions of the day. Why? Why are you doing what you are doing? Why are you setting out the time to do what you are doing? Why? What is your why? Why are you sitting there reading this? Why are you doing what you are doing?

why is motivation circleI have listened to many teachings, read many a book, and listened to some different sermons and a simple thing came to me. Why? The three letter word. Why? Why are we doing what we are doing? What is your why for your business? What is the why in your goals? What is your why in your achievements?

Sometimes you have to prioritize your why. Sit down and take some time to figure out your why in life. Figure out your why in business, your family, your bills, your whole being.5 root causes of analysis

A simple little word which can make you or break you. A complicated little word. Why? It is okay to do things, but why are you doing them?

These are questions only you can answer. These things can change your life. So why are you doing things? These don’t have to be told to anyone. But you have to sit down and write out your why. Figure out what is important and why you are doing it.

The Good:

  • Great learning site. This site you can find most of the training that you want to learn about.
  • It is a great source of education.
  • There are a lot of courses that you can take.
  • They do have a path that you can take and suggestions for different areas to take as well.

The Bad:

  • The bad part is the cost. The money is well worth it for the courses that they teach.
  • It is video learning. They do have a hands-on part of the course, however, that has an additional cost to do the hands on.
  • It does get confusing sometimes to get around the site. But once you know how, it gets easier.
  • I find that if you go back to it a day later or so that it is somewhat difficult to find where you had left off.
  • There are so many courses that you don’t know where to start.

My Final Opinion of Lynda.com

This learning site is very helpful. I like the site. It has videos for almost anything you want to do. It does not have the helpful people help like Wealthy Affiliate has, however, it is good for a beginner to learn different things. This can be helpful to learn the basics of different contents. What is Mindfulness?

no right or wrong way to think

What is mindfulness you say? Well, it is the engagement in the present moment. It is a state where you are not thinking, reflecting, judging, or deciding. You are just experiencing your available experience.

So are you on autopilot? Do you just go about and do the same thing every day? Get up, brush teeth, take shower/bath, clean up, eat breakfast, go to work, and not even think about what is around you? It is like going through the motions and not taking the time to see what really is around you. stop acroneme

Sometimes it is helpful to be on autopilot, but there are times that you should stop and as they used to say “Smell the roses.” Experience what is around you at that particular time. What are you missing? What is around you that you have not noticed before?

If you stopped and did nothing for a minute would your mind drift to what happened in the past? Would it drift to the future? How far in the future or past? Can you bring your mind back to the present?your body present future

Do you have the experience that you suddenly “woke up” and realized you were not in the present? How often does your mind drift off to the past or present?

Skills of Mindfulness

Well, this person told us that there are a number of skills made up of mindfulness. Those skills include:

mindfulnessAwareness – learning how to focus your attention on one thing at a time.

Nonjudgmental observation – looking at your experiences in a nonjudgmental way – which is looking at things in an objective way as opposed to labeling them as bad or good, pleasant or unpleasant, valuable or worthless.

Being in the present moment – part of mindfulness is being in touch with the present moment as opposed to being caught up in thoughts about the past (ruminations) or future (worry).

Beginners mind – understanding that every moment in time is unique. For mindfulness, it focuses on being open to new possibilities, new things, new surroundings, and new experiences. it is looking at things the way they are instead of the way they should be.Save

Practice Mindfulness

A way to practice this is to get an object, a coffee cup, pen, or any object, hold it in your hands and allow your attention to be fully absorbed by the object. Observe it, don’t examine it, just look at the beauty that is in it. Feel it sense it with all your senses, smell it, touch it, look at it, listen to it. Your conscious observation can give you a feeling of being awake. This will release thoughts of past or future worries. Experience the feelings you get. Do this for 2 to 3 minutes.10 ways to practice mindfulness

Your experiences

Now write down your experiences. What happened? How did you feel? Did it give you a new sense of what you want to do? Did it give you a new perspective on the way you live? Are you refreshed?mindfulness circle

Okay, when we did this exercise, we were renewed with a positive experience. Ready to conquer the world. So, if you do this, let me know how it helped you. Or if it did nothing for you, let me know that too.

It is supposed to be an exercise of focus and well-being. Something that I think in our fast world that we often forget to do. If you get stuck on something, worry about something, or just plain have so much stuff going on that you don’t know which way is up, try this exercise. See if you can get your focus back. See if it helps you.

mindfulness for daily lifeLet me know your thoughts on this. Does it help you to stay focused on your studies? Will you be able to use this to get ahead in your classes or in your pursuit of life? What is your opinion? Does it help you to decide on what course of action you will take when looking for money? Would you use it when making your website in Wealthy Affiliate or other areas?

Tsu, Product Overview

Tsu is a social network and payment platform. It is similar to Facebook, only you get paid for it. You get a certain amount for each like that you have, give or get. You get money for each post you put on the feed. It has changed dramatically since I first started on it. Now you can pick your choice of different feeds to go through, similar to Pinterest in a way. You still have the basic feeds only now you can like foods, animals, arts, communities, entertainment & music, giving, health, humor, news& politics, Science & Tech, Sports, style, or travel & nature. (I had not been on my site for a while. When I was on it last these things were not there. This is kind of neat. I am glad I went back to check it out.) You get a certain amount of money per thing you do.read surf and get paid
Okay, now this is neat. I was away from Tsu for about 3 or 4 months (which it showed me) and I had about 1.971 in my “Bank” now I just checked and I am up to $7.614. That is good for not being active on the account for 3 to 4 months. Okay. how to make money using tsuThey have this thing called a bank. It is where your money is kept track of. When you get up to I think it is $100.00, you can either spend it on different causes or deposit into your bank account. (I have not done this yet. I have not gotten up that far.) Anyway, It also has an analytics, you can see your messages, channels you have, people you are following, or go to the news feed. There are ads on the site as well. You can even advertise on Tsu. You can cash in your money any time, but the maximum they want you to keep in your bank is $100.00.

Here is a video on what Fox News has to say about it:

The Good:

  • You can make money from Tsu.
  • It is a social media and you can talk to people about anything.
  • It is growing.facebook like tsu share
  • You can still earn money on Tsu even if you have not been on it for a while.
  • You can add friends and family to your site
  • Their biggest competitor is FaceBook. (Not sure if this is a good or a bad.)
  • You can go back to a prior post that you put on or someone else put on
  • It tracks how many people have gone to your posts.
  • You can review anything you put on the site.
  • They have upgraded it to be a lot better. (When I went back to it, I was surprised to see the difference it is now.)

The Bad:

  • You will not get rich from Tsu
  • Sometimes it comes up as a scam if you try to advertise it on other sites.
  • It takes a while to make money on itdollars and cents
  • Not easy to get onto
  • The “Bank” is set up where you make money by doing things, entering contests, or just posting something or sharing something.
  • You have to be invited to get on.

TSU has a search area where you can type in what you are searching for.  The main support is from the people who are on the site. Since this is a feed kind of social network, there really is no support on it. It is not like Wealthy Affiliate where you can get help just by typing in a question.

TSU Price

Does not cost a thing. Sign up for free. Then have a good time. Meet people, talk to people and even share things with people.

My Final Opinion of Tsu

I like Tsu.co. It is a site where you can meet people. You can respond to other people’s information. You can post your opinions and views on the site. People are very friendly. It is also fun if you have time for it. With the new updates, you can choose what you want to look at and you can see different areas. The site has been categorized into different headings. There is one where it shows food, humor, art, entertainment, health, etc. It is a research tool, social network, and a way to make money all rolled up in one. Of course, you don’t make much money, especially right away, but every little bit counts.

Similar to Wealthy Affiliate. Wealthy AffiliateWith Wealthy Affiliate you are learning about how to make a website, with Tsu.co you are just sharing what you know.

Tsu is a social media aimed towards people socializing and sharing things they learn about or things that are going on in their world. There are contests which you can participate in, and they are not hard. Most of the time it is like putting a picture up and other people vote on which one they like. The winner gets like a dollar for their bank. tsuimage

Ad Viralizer, Product Overview

Ad Viralizer is an advertising for free leads.  This does not mean that they are good leads. It enables you to view other people’s websites and they get to view yours.international advertising

The Good & the Bad

The Good:

• It is free. No upgrades or upsells.
• It can create an endless amount of traffic to your website.
• It uses an URL Cloaker that helps to protect you from scams.
• They have linked programs. Which are also free to join and interlinked.
• You can build downlines in several traffic exchanges.

The Bad:

• The main bad point I see with this is that if you don’t have anyone to click on your link and support your link, you don’t get your website looked at. And if no one sees your website then you don’t get any referrals or traffic.
• You don’t know if the people looking at your site are good prospects or not. It generates traffic if done correctly, but you don’t know if any of that traffic will buy anything from your site.struggling student
• You have to look at 11 seconds worth of other people’s ads or websites.
• You don’t know if any of the sites you are looking at are legit or not. But you don’t have to click on any of the sites unless they interest you.
• It could be annoying to go through and look at the ads that other people have put on the site. But then again, you could put your site on it and click through the ones above you and not watch any of them too.

Ad Viralizer is for anyone looking to increase traffic to their website and does not care what kind of traffic they get. It has its good and bad.traffic

AD VIRALIZER Tools & Training

There is no training, at least none that I have found. So if you don’t know that you have to use something to get the first at least 10 people to look at your site, well, it could be a bust. But then again, you are not paying for anything either. viral expressHow does that saying go? You get what you pay for? That goes true here. I know this because I signed up, and so far, no one has even looked at it. So either everyone has it, or no one cares to use it. It could become annoying, though.

There really is no support for this ad. But then again, what kind of support do you need? Well, I would like to have something that helps you to find where things are on the site. But then again, what do you want for nothing. I did find a quick video which I will share here with you. See link below. It is only 14 seconds long. And it does not really tell you much in the way of it either. But it is a cute video.

This is free. No up-sells, no asking for money. It is totally free, except for your time. There is where the price is. It is not in money but time.balloon free

My Final Opinion of AD VIRALIZER

This is like a free multi-level marketing scheme, only difference is that you are not putting any money into it. So really, it is kind of like free traffic. There are downlines and up lines. No one is putting any money into it so I would not call it a scam. There is absolutely no money being exchanged between you and anyone else. The onlyinternational advertising time that money would be changing hands is if you chose to purchase something from any of the sites that you look at. It is not a bad thing to have if you are starting out. It could be good if you know someone or if you use the banner links. But if you don’t do anything with it, well, it just wastes your time then.

This is a legit site. However, some of the links that you watch may not be legit. This is really kind of different. For an ad, I would say try it out. Click here to get the link to try it. You won’t lose money with it, that is for sure. So if it does nothing for you, well, you did not lose anything. Legit pic

It is an advertisement after all. Or is it? It may be something to try with your Wealthy Affiliate site. I would like your opinion of this. If you try it out, let me know how you do. Thanks.

Just Do It – Book Review

We have been listening to a book. This one is named “Just Do It!” It is a Donald Trump’s Mastery Class book by Eugene Washington.

I am so pumped up about this book. It starts out saying, Dear Winner! Wow, doesn’t that just sound Awesome? You are a Winner! Just think about it, you started out life as a winner.

Starts out telling you how you are the first of 200,000 sperm. Think about it. You would not have been born if your mother did not have your father’s sperm to make you. And you are one of how many eggs that your mother had? I know, not a pretty thing to think about, but it is true. Don’t you agree? Now enough of the adult stuff.

Okay, you need another proof that you are a winner? Do you walk? Do you talk? Do you get around? How do you think you achieved these successes? Yes, although minor, they are all evidences that you are a success. Don’t sell yourself short. You are a Winner!

learning to walk cartoon

In the book, it tells how you are a winner. All the examples of these things show that you are a winner.

So, just because you don’t have the financial back-up that some people have, does not make you a loser. You are a winner. I just proved it.

Here are some questions for you. Think about them. Answer them Honestly. Do any of them apply to you? Keep reading. You will be amazed!

    • Okay, so what are your excuses for not making your million or billion in life?
    • Do you have a disability?
    • Did you get into a bad car wreck and now have lost some limbs?
    • Do you think you are too old or too young?
    • Are you poor?
    • Did you only have a mother or only a father?
    • Did you come from a background that others have not achieved things?
    • Do you live in the most wretched of places?
    • Were you abused most of your life?
    • Were or areyou discriminated against?
    • Were or are you living in a desert island?
    • Were you a part of a gang or in the wrong crowd growing up?
    • Did you make poor grades in school? Were you bullied growing up, or were you the bully?
    • Do you have a problem reading?
    • Do you have no friends?
    • Do you have little capital to start a business?
    • Have you failed at a lot of stuff you do?
    • Have you felt like you cannot do something because you always fail?
    • Did your teachers in school say that you will not amount to a hill of beans?
    • Did your parents, family, teachers, or anyone else constantly tell you that something cannot be done?
    • Do you… just fill in the blank with anything you do have or think you don’t have to make it.

Well, my friend, if any of the above applies to you, then you are in great company! What do I mean? There are a great many millionaires and billionaires out there that started out just like you. You have the Choice in this life to do what it takes or not to do what it takes. It is not an easy choice to make.

In reading the book Just Do It,  I have discovered a lot of things about life, riches, and getting rich. What is rich you ask?

I had a friend tell me that rich is the end result of your goal. It is what you set out to accomplish and achieve. A different meaning to rich, isn’t it? Yes, the dictionary says that to be wealthy is rich. But it also says to have great possessions or resources.

So, are you rich? I would answer “yes” to that. You are here with WA and that makes you one rich person. Why do I say this, you say? Look around you. What do you have? I can tell you. You have friends, family, support, training, guides, templates, and happiness, must I go on? Look at all the things here. Most places don’t have this type of network. Even Facebook cannot compare, in my opinion. It is like a wealth of knowledge sitting here for you to grab. For you to latch onto. If you are new or if you have been here for a while, you have it all! So, yes, you are rich!

In the book, it tells of different people who made it in life. Things that I have not even thought about. I want to start out with a quote.

“If you’re going to be thinking, you may as well think big.” – Donald Trump

Did you know that he said that? He did. So I want to impress upon you one thing – Think big! You are amazing! You are Awesome! You are one in a Million no, you are one in a Billion! Hey, think big, right?

Here is another quote – “In every person there is a sun. Just let them shine.” – Socrates

I am encouraging you to show your sunshine! Shine bright! You can do it! Don’t give up!

Back to the excuses. There are no excuses. You are what you think you are. If you think you can, you are right. If you think you can’t, you are right. It is all in how you think. You can let your surroundings or past or your lack of something stop you, or you can tell those things to get behind you and reach for the stars!

The first step you have to do is get rid of the old beliefs and old misconceptions about yourself. Don’t let the shackles that were put on you in childhood stop you. Don’t let anything stop you.

Here is a story shared from the book: There was a man who came across an elephant who was standing in the middle of the yard on a hot day. Just a few steps ahead of the elephant was a cool stream of water. The elephant was on a little chain that he could just snap at any time and go to the water. But this elephant didn’t. Why was this so? The man decided to ask the Elephant tied to a stakeowner of the elephant why he did not go to the water to cool off. The owner explained that when the elephant was young he was put on a chain that he could not get out of. The elephant tried and tried for a long time to get out of the chain. But each time he could not escape. Then one day he gave up on trying. It was useless to try to get out of the chain. So after he stopped trying and when he grew up, he did not try any longer to get free. So, when he is older, he thinks in his mind that he cannot get out of the rope or chain. Since he could not do it when he was young, he thinks he cannot do it now. The picture above has a link to a video on a similar story of this. It is interesting.

So what does this have to do with us? We have had similar things done to us. We have been brought up to think that we have to do things in one certain way. We cannot possibly look at a different way to do things. Result is that we don’t try. We give up. We use our excuses to not do things to make us successful.

I am here to tell you, that is not true! We need to, as adults, break the chain! Be the elephant that breaks the rope. We need to do this to be successful! We can! You can! You will! Don’t let any excuses stop you! It does not matter if you are old, young, rich, poor, disabled – mentally or physically, been brought up with nothing, live in the poor areas, been disadvantaged. It does not matter the excuse or problems you think you have. You can do it! Just don’t stop trying! Don’t stop believing! Don’t stop making attempts! Don’t betray your happiness!

How many times did it take you to learn how to walk? Don’t remember? You could ask your mother, however, she may not remember either. How many times did it take you to learn to talk? How many times did it take you to learn the things you know today? See, you are a Winner! Don’t give up just because someone else says that you cannot do something.

Okay, you need examples of success from impossible situations? Here are some examples.

You say you are too old – Did you know that Grandma Moses did not paint till she was 76 years old? She started out as a simple peasant on a small farm and lived with a poor family working most of her life for rich neighbors. She milked cows and did all sorts of hard labor even after she married. Her story is in the book if you want to know more. Or look it up on the internet.

Another example: The biggest loser! Do you know who the biggest loser is? Colonel Sanders. Yes, that is right, the person who came up with the Kentucky Fried Chicken (Also known as KFC) chain. He started out trying to become a lawyer, which did not end well after his first case, which he got into a fight with his defendant and the Bar took away his license. He then tried to open a gas station, this failed too. He worked at a lot of places, even started a restaurant but to his dismay, they all ended up being a part of his failures. But did he stop? No. Even at 65, he did not stop. Finally, he remembered a chicken recipe that he had. He went around to different restaurants trying to sell his chicken recipe. No one wanted it. He was told that he was an idiot. People laughed at him. They told him that they were not interested in it. They humiliated him and called him all sorts of names. After 1006 tries, he finally got his first contract and KFC was born.

Pithagoras was 60, Julius Ceaser was 51, there are a number of others throughout history.

Now you say, well, they had an education. But you don’t. Or you don’t have the disabilities that I have. Well, my friend, here are other examples of famous or not so famous people. Most of these are covered in detail in the book. There are many examples. Just look them up on the website. Look up these people’s histories.

Do you know Konosuke Matsusita? He was a high school dropout who started the Panasonic Company.

Thomas Edison dropped out of high school.

Auguste Rodin – worlds famous sculpture failed 4 times to pass the entrance exams to the Paris school of fine arts. Never attended art school.

Giorgio Armani – studied medicine before becoming a fashion designer with no formal education.

Paul Orfalea, famous for Kinko’s photography and copy store, was dyslexic from childhood and a mentally retarded child and was told that he would not amount to anything except maybe a carpet layer.

Soichiro Honda – founder of Honda Motorcycles and cars. Born in a small village in a poor family. 2 of his brothers and a sister died of starvation. He was the only one that survived but did not go to high school.

Do you know Stephen Hawking? Famous astrophysicist of our times. His body is paralyzed and has been immobile for many years. He writes novels and is the head of Mathematics at Oxford University. He can only move 1 finger on his right hand. He has written many books, including “A Brief History of Time”. He uses a speech synthesizer for talking. His story is one of amazement. If you thought you had an excuse not to do something, you must read his story. He has come through things that I could not imagine. You have no excuse after reading his story.

Valentin Dikul – another good story of victory. He is the circus performer who, while doing a circus trick, fell down from a big height and broke his back. He was told that he would never be able to walk again. After that incident, he lifts weights more than 3300 pounds. He lifted a car.

Michael Jordan – was cut from his school basketball team and was told that he did not have any talent.

And of course Oprah Winfrey. She is a successful television personality who was told that she was not fit for television.

Okay, enough of the examples. You can read the book to get more, or look online. Each book listed has a link to a book that tells more.

These are some examples. Pick someone and read their history. You will be amazed!

Now, what I would recommend is that you, yes you, sit down and write out all your failures, disabilities, things that are holding you back. Compare them to the ones here or look up someone online that has your exact reason for not going for it.

After you are done writing your list and finding other successful people, put it on the back burner, in your computer under a tab of “History” and go out and start being successful. One way you can start is by creating your own website at Wealthy Affiliate.

Let me know how you like this review and how you plan on succeeding, either at Wealthy Affiliate or any other business venture. I would like to have your opinion on my review as well. Thank you!

Oh, and after you have achieved success, please come back here and share your success story with your background. I will be interested in seeing it as well! And maybe your story can influence someone else.

Please leave any comments you have below. Thank you.

Push Money App Review (SCAM)

Owners: Dennis Moreland and Mike Callahan
Overall Rank: SCAM!!!!!

PUSH MONEY APP, Product Overview

This is a real scam. They show a video on how to make money in minutes. However, they don’t give you any details on it. If you look at the videos they say things and they only tell you to give them money. Doing your homework on this shows that this site is a scam. Not real. word titles for scam fraud

The Good & the Bad

The Good:

  1. They say you can make lots of money in a short time. But are you getting the money or are they?
  2. Video is very well made
  3. It is supposed to be a binary app – meaning that it is supposed to be a stock application

The Bad:

  1. There is nothing that they were selling – no explanation on what it is
  2. The cost is a lot!work from home scam
  3. There is nothing but the beta testers, what is that? Beta testers are people who test the product. In this instance, the same people in the background are the same people who are in the videos.
  4. Fake testimonials
  5. Nothing on the site – there is no explanation for any of the ideas, products, or any hint as to what they are selling.
  6. Don’t explain anything – nothing is explained only that you can get money in

    stop falling for scams

your pocket and look at all these other people doing it.

  7. Looking at the screenshots in the video, the times and dates are the same. How could this be? If this was legit wouldn’t the time on everyone’s screen be different?
  8. Wasn’t the house in a prior scam?
  9. Look at the car they are driving in the video, don’t they need a license plate? Wonder what country they are from.

It is for anyone who “Wants to make more money fast” in a binary system. Have you heard of a Binary system? Why does this site not explain what that is? A Binary system, from what I get is something dealing with stocks and the stock market. Humm, why then do they not explain this on the Push Money App? Because they want you to fall for their trap, that is why. Scam with words for each letter

PUSH MONEY APP Tools & Training

No tools, no training. Only videos.  There is nothing on this site that says that it is legit. My Final Opinion of PUSH MONEY APP

Too good to be true. And you know what they say about things that are too good to be true, it usually is. And for this one, it is. Nothing screams louder as a scam than this. So in my opinion, it is a scam.

Ebay Review

What is eBay? What does it do? Who is it for?

Have you asked yourself what really is eBay?

Have you wondered how to really get something onto or from eBay?

Here are some answers to these questions.

Name: EBAY
Website: EBAY.COM
Price: Free for buyers and a fee for sellers
Owner(s): Pierre Omidyar in 1995
Location: San Jose, California
Overall Rank: 80 out of 100

EBAY, Product Overview

eBay is an American worldwide e-commerce corporation. It is a place where you can sell or buy goods from around the world. It is like a giant flea market auction. The difference between this and a flea market is that you don’t have to leave your home to go to it. You can sell things that are no longer used or wanted. You can buy things from other people. It is a place where goods are bought or sold to a general public.

The Good & the Bad

The Good:

  1. You can get rid of stuff you have laying around the house or dorm.
  2. You can make money on your stuff.
  3. There is an eBay guarantee on most items.
  4. You can send items back to the person or contact them if you did not want it or it was broken when you got it.
  5. You have a choice to sell by auction or fixed price.
  6. You can get a really good item for the least amount of money when buying items.
  7. There are a lot of people who go onto eBay to purchase all types of items. If you are selling, you can get a bunch of exposure to your stuff.

The Bad:

  1.  You may not get the price you thought your item was worth if you sell it. Or if you buy something, you may not get exactly what you wanted.
  2. Time, it takes some time to sell your stuff. If you do an auction to sell your stuff it usually takes between 7 and 10 days for your item to sell. If you buy something by auction, it may take just as long to buy an item.
  3. You have to determine ahead of time what you think the items are worth when selling.
  4. You have to have at least 1 picture of your item(s) that you are selling.
  5. You have to describe your item and put descriptive words in so people can find your item. You also only can put it under one heading.
  6. You will have to update your item if it does not sell. Your item may not sell the first time it is on eBay.
  7. You have to read the descriptions of what you are buying to make sure that it is what you want. You could end up with something that does not work if you don’t read everything about it before you bid or order something.

Who is EBAY For?

Ebay is for anyone looking to buy or sell items. Either new or old items are found on eBay. This is good for anyone over the age of 18. (I say this because most children are not old enough to purchase things on the internet.)

EBAYTools & Training

There is a help section for the selling. It can be confusing at times, however, it is helpful when you cannot figure it out.

Ebay does have a staff support. If you have an item that you are selling and someone says that they are buying it, and they don’t pay for the item it goes to the eBay arbitration. Then eBay will ask them to pay you. You get the option to give feedback to the buyer or seller as you see fit.
EBAY Price

Ebay is free to use for buyers. Sellers are charged fees for listing items. Sometimes there are sales that help defray the cost of selling online.

My Final Opinion of EBAY

Ebay is a good place to start selling your items. Make sure that if you are selling that you are aware of the amount that eBay charges for use of their services.

KICKSTARTER, Product Overview

This is an American public benefit corporation based in New York, according to Wikipedia. This crowd funding campaign focuses on creativity. So if you have a creative project that you would like to do this site is a good one for you. The creative project designer choses a deadline and a minimum goal. If they don’t collect any money by the deadline then they don’t have to worry about the fee. They collect pledges for all kinds of projects including: music, arts, journalism, comics, video games, films and food related projects.

They offer a tangible reward for the pledge.

Kickstarter started on April 28, 2009.

The Good & the Bad

The Good:

PRO #1 – Lots of project ideas are funded through Kickstarter
PRO #2 – If you get featured on the homepage you have a better chance of getting funded.
PRO #3 – You get something for your donation.
PRO #4 – If you have a creative idea it may work.
PRO #5 – If you don’t get funding, you don’t have to worry about the fees.

The Bad:

CON #1 – if you have a large goal, you are less likely to get the funding you need.
CON #2 – It is not for business ventures or for emergencies.
Con #3 – There are other fees on top of the original 5% fee.

Kickstarter is for the creative person who is looking to get their ideas funded.

KICKSTARTER Tools & Training

No tools or training seem to be on this site.

The support is the people who send their pledges to the person who needs the funding.

Price for Kickstarter starts out as 5% of the total amounts of funds plus 3 to 5% after that.

My Final Opinion of KICKSTARTER

Kickstarter can be good for those who want their crafts to be funded. It could be something that makes a lot of money or no money at all. It would be good to find out if people are interested in what you have to offer before you sell your item online.

Legit – This site has a lot of good reviews and has made a lot of people money. They seem to be one of the better crowd funding sites that I have seen. You also get something for your donation or pledge as they call it.
